About Evelyn Jagpat, Psy.D.
Dr. Evelyn Jagpat, has spent over two decades in the field of mental health. As a clinical psychologist and certified trauma professional, she works to help those suffering from the impact of trauma, specifically, sexual trauma. Evelyn also actively mentors ad trains other psychologists. She is the founder of Psychology Oral Exam & Beyond, which is a preparatory program which helped to prepare Texas psychologists for board licensure in Texas. She also runs her own clinic, CATSS 
(Capital Area Therapeutic Science Services), which offers community, compassion, and treatment for persons who have been sexually traumatized. Dr. Jagpat believes in the importance of honoring and respecting their stories and experiences.
Evelyn also believes in the connection between spiritual and personal growth. She credits God and His love and grace for her full recovery and healing from past trauma. She writes about how to integrate the spiritual towards living a fully actualized life in the present. Her unique perspective teaches others how to apply psychological and practical spiritual principles, based on a Christian perspective, to trauma recovery, relationship problems, mental illness, and adversity.

In addition to her career as a psychologist, Dr. Jagpat is a poet. Her recent book, “Lipstick Journal: A Passionate Love Story”, is a fictional memoir of the path to recovery, love and spiritual enlightenment for a survivor. The female poet in the story chronicles her journey entirely in poetry.
Dr. Jagpat has also authored the books, “Psychology Orals Preparation Guide Adult: Practice Workbook and Study Strategies For The Texas Psychology Orals” and “Psychology Oral Exam Study Guide Series: Adult Clinical and Counseling Psychology”. She also created an interactive, guided online study program for psychologist who want to prepare for professional licensure in Texas.
She now lives in Austin, Texas with her family. They enjoy exploring the great outdoors together and traveling to new destinations. They also love to sing together. On occasion, Evelyn writes spiritual songs just from love!
